Redmond Barry
Director
Redmond has over 25 years of experience in the broader construction industry with a particular focus on commercial matters gained from his degree in quantity surveying. Ballycommon’s growth to date can be attributed to Red’s expertise and determination to delivering projects to the highest standard. He continues to manage and develops the growth of Ballycommon keeping a close eye on meeting clients requirements both regards to health and safety and commercial matters.
Florin Ardelean
Contracts Manager

Florin has over 20 years of experience working within various sectors of the industry. He has developed vast knowledge from working on site to becoming a successful Contracts Manager.

Florin has completed assorted management and training courses during his 10 years with Ballycommon and is qualified to provide expert advice to ensure our client requirements are satisfied. Florin continues to enjoy developing into a more experienced Contracts Manager and shows a keen interest in building long term client relationships.
Neville Buttimer
Contracts Manager

Neville has over 20 years in the industry, both working on and supplying operatives to major rail, civil, and London underground projects. With his extensive industry knowledge, he maintains a strong client list. Neville is focused and pays particular attention to clients’ needs and ensuring that the little details are always delivered.
Michael Collins
HSQ Manager

Michael is enthusiastic and committed to improving health, safety and quality at Ballycommon. With his degree in civil engineering and his further masters in project management, he has implemented and is continuing to improve Ballycommon’s HSQ management systems and processes. Additionally, Michael is NEBOSH qualified and holds a range of other management and training certifications.

Alongside Michael's HSQ role, he oversees training and compliance, enabling Ballycommon to have a highly trained, skilled and safe work force. Michael promotes effective communication and collaboration between Ballycommon staff and operatives to ensure safety is at the forefront of all project delivery.
Jim Heaney
Financial Controller

Jim’s responsibility is to lead the finance department. Jim brings a wealth of experience to the role with over 20 years looking after the accounts of many companies within the construction industry.

Jim has been instrumental in setting up and integrating new software and accounting processes to ensure the smooth running of the finance department.
Barry Pinkney
Railway Compliance Officer and Safety Critical Trainer

Barry has over 20 years of experience in the rail industry with a passion for health and safety. He is a Network Rail approved trainer with a NEBOSH qualification and he's a technical member of IOSH. Ballycommon’s record on health and safety has continued to improve year on year under his guidance. He believes that communication is imperative to getting the safe message across and showing that health and safety compliance is a key responsibility to any company.
Jimmy Wilson
Rail Operations Manager

Jimmy has over 18 years experience in the rail industry. Jimmy started as a Trackman on site and successfully progressed to his current role as Operations Manager at Ballycommon. He oversees the day to day running of the rail department of Ballycommon and maintains a hands on approach. His sheer determination and drive has seen Ballycommon help their clients deliver some of the most difficult projects in the industry and this in turn has helped to grow and develop the rail division within Ballycommon.
